Chair
Quin is the Director of Enterprise Development at La Trobe University and is also the current Chair of Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia Ltd. He has been a Director on KCA’s board since 2018 and is the former Chair of the KCA Victorian Network. In previous appointments, he led the research partnerships team at RMIT University and also made significant contributions to Australia’s defence research engagement through his role at the Defence Science Institute.
Prior to moving into the higher education sector, he held various senior positions at Toyota Motor Corporation and Ford Motor Company where he led the design and development of key components seen in modern vehicles today. His diverse global industry experience includes overseeing manufacturing supply chains in 7 countries, human resource management and supplier relations.
Quin is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from RMIT University and a Diploma of Project Management.
