MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Knowledge Commercialisation Organisation Memberships
… are for incorporated or unincorporated entities (teams, units, offices, or departments) directly involved in knowledge commercialisation*, that are part of, or directly associated with, Australasian tertiary education institutions, public research institutions or other collaborative R&D ventures (Cooperative Research Centres, R&D Corporations, etc).
*Knowledge commercialisation includes the following functions:
- IP licensing and spinouts
- consulting, contract research
- staff and student entrepreneurship
- industry engagement and partnerships
All Knowledge Commercialisation Organisation Memberships are voting memberships, with the head of the team or department as the voting representative.
There are two categories of Knowledge Commercialisation Organisation Membership (TTO AU & TTO NZ):

Affiliate Memberships
… are for individuals (aged 18 years or over) and organisations not directly involved in knowledge commercialisation, but who are associated or work closely with organisations directly involved in knowledge commercialisation. All Affiliate Memberships are non-voting memberships. There are two categories of Affiliate Membership (AU & NZ):
