KCA is excited to announce the launch of the KCA ACT Network. The ACT Network will be chaired by Dr E-Jen Teh from the University of Canberra.
Having spent most of her career working in the industry and in academia, Jen knows first-hand how important it is to speak the language in order to bridge both worlds.
Jen specializes in the fuzzy front-end innovation processes ranging from the early research and creative phases, roadmapping, idea evaluation, user validation to product development and implementation phases. Jen’s R&D portfolio consists mainly of medical devices (intravenous catheters, self-testing IVD and infection prevention device).
During her time in the medical device industry, she had the opportunity to manage university-industry collaborations as the industry partner and subsequently commercialized the outcomes to align with business needs.
As part of her new role as the KCA ACT Network Chair, Jen is keen to leverage her insights to drive conversations and bring together the industry, universities and policy makers to support and enhance commercialisation activities.
Jen has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from James Cook University. She is currently a Business Development Specialist (IP & Commercialisation) at the University of Canberra.
