The Best Creative Engagement Strategy category was designed to capture the new wave of relationship development driving activity in the sector and showcase some of the creative strategies research organisations are using to engage with industry partner/s to share and create new knowledge.
The Best Commercial Deal is all about showcasing some of the wins our member offices have had over the last twelve months. This category was designed to highlight successful, innovative cases of the commercialisation of knowledge which provides a value-add to the research institution and has significant long term social and economic impact.
Due to the solid nature of the applications submitted, we have seven finalists for the 2014 Research Commercialisation Awards. Our esteemed judges were unable to separate two applications so there is a joint placing within the top three of the Best Creative Engagement Strategy category (you’ll just have to come to the dinner on September 18 to find out who was placed where in the line-up).
