Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia (KCA) is pleased to invite Australian and New Zealand universities, medical research institutes and publicly funded research organisations to participate in SCOPR 2021. Through the provision of data public research organisations can review their own performance and demonstrate to the wider community the commercialisation outcome from research. Participation is voluntary and greatly appreciated.
Now in its fifth year of data collection, SCOPR has:
- secured the voluntary participation of most publicly funded research organisations across Australia and New Zealand
- enabled national and international benchmarking of research organisations’ industry engagement and commercialisation inputs and results, as measures of the commercial value of research
- gained wide acceptance as an authoritative data source, cited by the research sector, funding bodies, government departments and committees, and national media including broadcast news; and
- informed the decisions, policies and planning of research organisations, government and industry stakeholders seeking to enhance the commercial value of research by shaping and supporting the innovation ecosystem.
KCA has again engaged commercialisation consultancy gemaker to administer the survey and report on key metrics and trends. Read the 2020 SCOPR Report (PDF)
Survey opens: 1 June 2022 and closes: COB 26 July 2022
The findings of SCOPR 2021 will be presented at the KCA Annual Conference in Melbourne on 1 September 2022. The one-page Highlights and a Summary Report will also be accessible on the KCA website after the KCA Conference.
