The KCA Annual Conference is heading to Sydney in September 2019 and registration is now open. The KCA Conference has been part of the Australasian Tech Transfer community’s annual calendar of events for almost 40 years. The yearly aggregation of practitioners continues to be a forum to come together to discuss pertinent issues and topical affairs, and network and catch up with peers from around Australia and New Zealand.
This year’s conference in Sydney will continue the conversation on best practice in knowledge transfer and commercialisation. With our focus on innovating for impact, we have an excellent program aimed at meeting the challenges of what a modern day TTP might encounter.
We understand that this might be everything from industry engagement and partnership development, traditional licensing and intellectual property management, through to new ventures and innovation precincts. While the pathway might vary according to individual projects and technologies, we aim to explore the core skills that a TTP might need to create positive outcomes for their organisations and the broader community.
In the midst of an evolving policy landscape, we’re also keen to continue the conversation on innovation metrics and how they contribute to Australia and New Zealand’s overall economic development.
Delegates will hear from leading practitioners, industry experts and policy makers on how to create long-term partnerships, implement best practice and showcase examples of tools to use in their own organisations.
We are excited to again be running our VIP Networking Function prior to the conference to give our sponsors the opportunity to network with key decision makers in a focused setting, along with establishing a RTTP Breakfast to ensure we recognise our registered practitioners.
Join us in Sydney to be a leading voice in this discussion, share ideas and network with fellow peers. We hope that this event will inspire you to innovate for impact!
