National Survey of Research Commercialisation Now Open

The National Survey of Research Commercialisation (NSRC) seeks to obtain information on the research commercialisation activities and results of Australian universities as well as selected Publicly Funded Research Agencies (PFRA) and Medical Research Institutes (MRI).

The information gathered through the NSRC is used to assist government to develop and evaluate policy relating to the innovation system. Additionally, individual institutions and researchers use this information to monitor and compare their own performance and results.

The Survey is being conducted in order to gauge the spread and intensity of:

  1. resource allocation for commercialisation;
  2. activities being undertaken in pursuit of commercialisation; and
  3. the actual commercialisation or related activity such as contract research and consultancies.

The survey will run over the period 18 June to 16 July 2013.

Your participation is valued, as is your commitment to accurately representing the activities of your institution.

The online survey is once again being managed by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education and can be found at this link.
