KCA Annual Conference 2024: Save the Date!

This year’s conference program, taking place at the QT in Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand, will feature leading international and national speakers, panel sessions, workshops and discussions exploring the importance of our theme “Unleashing Potential: Our Stories of Innovation, Inspiration and Impact”

On Tuesday 15th October there will be optional pre-conference training sessions and the conference welcome drinks that evening.

The results for SCOPR® 2023 (The Survey of Commercialisation Outcomes from Public Research) will be presented at the conference providing a valuable insight into how the commercialisation of public research has performed in 2023. Other session themes include the use of AI and indigenous knowledge in technology transfer, commercialising social sciences and the arts, supporting emerging managers, perspectives from industry and investors working with TTOs, what governments are doing in research and commercialisation, as well as plenty of opportunities to hear about specific examples of the challenges and impact of commercialisation.

This year’s KCA Australian Research Commercialisation Award winners will be announced at the Gala & Awards Dinner on Wednesday 16th October. Please start thinking about recent commercialisation and industry engagement success stories that you could nominate for an award.

The Awards Dinner will be held at the Winehouse in the Gibbston Valley, 20 minutes from central Queenstown.
