Erin is the Director of the Office of Research Development at the University of Southern Queensland. She leads a team that manages strategic research partnerships, contract research, consultancy, commercialisation and eResearch for the University. Prior to joining USQ, Erin was responsible for managing commercialisation at qutbluebox and large-scale collaborative research projects for Griffith University. Erin began her career as a biomedical scientist and worked in the United Kingdom on remedi, the ‘Regenerative Medicine – A New Industry’ Grand Challenge funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. Erin has a BBiotechInnov(Hons), a PhD in tissue engineering, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is currently a Director of the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation Ltd, Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia and a committee member of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
