Amanda McAlpine RTTP, Director (Training), Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia (KCA) and Director (Marketing), global Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP)

Amanda is an accredited Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP), fulfilling over 20 years experience within intellectual property, commercialisation and business positions including within an Australian Research Development Corporation, the University sector, various Research Cooperative Research Centre Committees and SMEs. She has considerable business development, knowledge transfer and negotiating experience, including attracting commercial partners/investors, finalising over 100 licences/commercial agreements, a wealth of experience in assessing investment and setting up large R&D programs, with multiple partners and competing objectives. Amanda’s background also includes many years developing and managing small businesses, as well as being Company Secretary on the ETC TV Board in the 2000’s.

Qualifications include B Com/marketing, M Commerce (Development & Investment), M Agricultural Science, plus completed post grad study in IP transfer. Amanda is a graduate of the Yale, School of Management, Women’s Business Leadership Program; the Oxford Strategic Innovation Program; the NSW Enterprise Workshop; an accredited Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, member of LESANZ since 2002 and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
