Amanda is the Manager, Knowledge and Intellectual Property Transfer at Meat & Livestock Australia and Director/Executive Knowledge Commercialisation Australia ANZ.
She possesses over 20 years experience in IP, business & commercialisation positions including within a Research Development Corporate, University sector, various Research Cooperative Research Centre Committees and small business. She has considerable negotiating experience, including finalising over 100 licences, commercial agreements, a wealth of experience in assessing investment and setting up large R&D programs, with multiple partners and competing objectives. Amanda’s background also includes many years assessing, managing and developing small businesses and was Company Secretary on the ETC TV Board in the 2000’s.
Education includes, B Com/marketing, M Commerce & Investment, M Agricultural Science & completed post grad study in IP transfer. She’s a graduate of the Yale, School of Management, Women’s Business Leadership Program, an International recognised Registered Technology Transfer Professional, Graduate of the NSW Enterprise Workshop, an accredited Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, member of LESANZ since 2002 and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
