Amanda is the Program Manager – Commercialisation & Intellectual Property at MLA, with over 18 years experience in IP, business & commercialisation positions at MLA, within the University sector and various Research Cooperative Research Centre Committees. She has considerable negotiating experience, including finalising over 100 licences, commercial agreements, a wealth of experience in assessing investment and setting up large R&D programs, with multiple partners and competing objectives. Amanda’s background also includes many years assessing, managing and developing small businesses and was Company Secretary on the ETC TV Board in the 2000’s.
Amanda has both University and RDC investment experience. Education includes, B Com/marketing, M Commerce & Investment, M Agricultural Science & completed post grad study in IP transfer. Graduate of the NSW Enterprise Workshop, an accredited Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, member of LESANZ and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
